Crabbe, well past his FLASH GORDON heyday, plays the famous outlaw in Producers Releasing Corporation's "Billy the Kid"series. Here he is more handsome than anything else. Falsely arrested for train robbery, Crabbe breaks out of jail to find the real outlaw and clear his name. In the
process he uncovers a group of bad guys masquerading as ranchers. He recovers the stolen money and all is made right. The film is historically inaccurate and nothing more than a formula action piece. Look for old silent film comics St. John and Pollard.
