The Kettles On Old Macdonald's Farm

This picture was the last of Universal's "Kettle" films as well as Main's final screen appearance. This time Fennelly has the role of Pa Kettle, replacing Percy Kilbride. The couple plays matchmaker for Smith, an honest, though poor, lumberman. Talbott is the spoiled rich girl whom Main coaches in the ways of the backwoods so she'll make a suitable wife for Smith. There's also a comical chase involving a bear named "Three Toes." Simplistic and about as interesting as it sounds.
