In this fictional expose of corruption in the US government and of media manipulation of the public, Nouri is a former media adviser to the president. Depressed over the suicide of his wife, Nouri falls down on his job and is exposed in a hard-hitting report delivered by Twomey, his one-time lover, an unscrupulous news announcer aiming at a news-anchor spot.
