Fenton is an American who travels to England to collect on his inheritance of a giant, musty old manor. Standing in his way, however, is Wallace, a doctor living in the mansion who refuses to leave. Fenton is aided by Wallace's daughter, Evans, but further complications arise when two
crooks, Madison and Blackmer, show up with half a treasure map (Fenton has the other half), determined to find the loot in the mansion. This, of course, leads to chases, tricks, fist-fights and defeat for the crooks as Fenton finds the treasure and claims the love of Evans. A last gasp for
Chesterfield Corp., remaking its 1929 talkie of the same title.
