The House In The Woods

A writer and his wife (Gough and Roc, respectively) decide to rent a small cottage in the country. Gough intends to work there, but soon learns that the landlord (Howard), a rather odd painter, is out to kill Roc. Howard was a suspect in his own wife's death and is stopped from murdering Roc just in the nick of time. Despite some plot holes, this interesting, well-handled thriller never lets up.
