The Horror Of Party Beach: Review

An all-time bad-movie classic, complete with lots of awful music, silly monster costumes, phony newspaper headlines, and lousy teenage actresses! Radioactive waste at the bottom of the ocean turns the human skeletons lying there into mutated sea monsters that surface and ruin a teenage beach party, killing the rock-'n'-rollers for their blood. Eventually, an inept scientist stumbles across the solution to the problem by pouring sodium on the beasts and dissolving them (actually, his black maid Eulabelle discovers the secret, but she doesn't get the credit). THE HORROR OF PARTY BEACH was heralded as "the first horror monster musical"; luckily, few followed. Really bad and really fun. The songs include "Drag," "You Are Not a Summer Love," "Elaine," "Wigglin' 'n' Wobblin,"' and "The Zombie Stomp." leave a comment
