Erwin is a young advertising man who marries Weaver, the girl one desk over. The two have a high time with married life, spending all their money--and more--on cars, country clubs, and liquor. Clive, Gale, Knowles, Greene, and Tyler are a bunch of social leeches who hang out as long as the
booze keeps flowing. Finding themselves deeply in debt, the young newlyweds quickly switch over from the fast lane to a more conservative lifestyle. Simplistic and highly moralistic, but with enough funny moments to be entertaining. The direction keeps things moving right along at a good rhythm.
Carson has a great bit as an obnoxious car salesman.
