The story of Occupied France is told in this biography of a Montmarte family that begins during the Franco-Prussian war in 1871 and continues through the Nazi occupation in 1940. Events include Nat's wedding, Raimu's visit to the Moulin Rouge, Morgan's loss of her arm in WW I, and the
