Dull, self-consciously "arty" film adaptation of the equally boring and pretentious stage play by William Norton (who coproduced). The story circles around a vagabond-ish Leder (who coproduced), who wins his girl's affections by demonstrating to her the corruption inherent in the normal
marriage structure; he picks a married couple, seduces the wife, and reduces the husband to a bowl of Jell-o. Tripe.
