The Good Old Days

This British comedy set in London circa 1840 involves a group of actors trying to make a living in a society that still continues to think of them as nothing more than talented beggars. Their efforts to entertain are rewarded by a stiff fine and imprisonment, but all works out well when they rescue a nobleman's son from a band of gypsies who have kidnaped the boy. The boy's father is so grateful, he bails the actors out of their predicament.
