Forgettable British musical comedy of the "Hey gang--let's put on a show!" variety. Plot sees a floundering concert party saved from financial ruin due to the combined efforts of a lonely spinster who invests some cash in the operation out of a sense of adventure, a schoolteacher who writes jazz tunes on the side, and a vastly talented chorus girl who rises to become the star of the show. Songs include, "Lucky For Me," "Three Wishes," and "I'll be Happy" (George Posford, Douglas Furber). leave a comment
