Portman and daughter Hendrix, along with Heflin and Hendrix's fiance, Francois, are searching for the lost tomb of Marcus Manilius. There they hope to find the golden mask of Moloch, which is worth a fortune. They run into the standard bandits but are saved by the equally standard military. Hendrix and Heflin fall for each other and Francois relinquishes his intended. Competent direction helps this flow smoothly and the acting is fine for the material. Scenes of the desert and ancient ruins are marvelously shot. leave a comment
