A minor crime melodrama made interesting by the use of 3-D. Hughes is an aggressive young actress who appears on a regular "Crime of the Week" TV show. She had once had an affair with scriptwriter Forsythe and is now using that dalliance as blackmail to keep her on his show and to keep her purse lined with extra cash. He is about to pay her the last of the money but gets to her flat to find her murdered. Much as he would have wanted to do the job himself, he is innocent. Hughes was also blackmailing Robinson, the research director for the show. Since the crime remains unsolved, Robinson and Forsythe decide to use it as the basis for one of the TV show's episodes. R...
