The Girl Next Door

An innocuous musical comedy which casts Haver as a Broadway star tired of city life. Her manager, intent on keeping her in the limelight, sets her up in a snazzy home. Her next-door neighbor is cartoonist Dailey and his son, Gray. Much to the dismay of the child, the two adults get involved, but his understanding girl friend explains that people come in pairs just like the animals on Noah's Ark.
