A musical remake of the Ginger Rogers starrer TOM, DICK AND HARRY that fails to live up to the original, even with some nice tunes. Powell is simultaneously engaged to Noonan, Robertson, and Andes and can't decide who is the man for her. Andes is a wealthy playboy, Noonan is a real
estate man, and Robertson is a mechanic specializing in diesel engines. It was a fairly dumb story in 1941 when they made the first version but it was saved by a sharp screenplay and some superb performances. The script for this one falls down in the humor department and Robertson is a total lox
