The Ghost Walks

A determined playwright who has just penned a mystery invites a stage producer to his home. The whodunit is played out with the aid of some professional actors, but the producer thinks there has been an actual murder. When people really do begin disappearing, it's the playwright's turn to be spooked. It turns out that an escaped lunatic has been snatching victims for some unscheduled operations. A well-written script and sharp performances support the unique premise, and tricky lighting provides startling effects.
