Comedian Oakie is a small-town stooge who, through his bumbling, puts a number of gangsters behind bars. He gets himself caught in the crossfire of two warring gangs, and when a mob boss orders him to abduct a young woman, Oakie tells him that it's against the law and he'll get arrested. This well-written comedy uses the then-very-popular gangster genre with hilarious results. leave a comment
