A staple on the late-night circuit, this low-budget shocker sports black magic as its main menace. Set in the Amazon jungle, the action focuses on an angry tribe of Jivaro Indians whose ancestors had slapped a curse upon the Drake family (white traders) nearly 200 years ago and, of course, are carrying on the tradition into modern times. Descendant of the Drake legacy, Franz, is about to become the next victim of head-shrinking, but he is saved by his daughter, French, and a detective, Richards. Upon further investigation, Franz and Co. discover that the witch doctor's head is actually that of great-granddaddy Drake and it's been sitting on the old fella's shoulders for over 200 years. Fairly atmospheric for those willing to sit up till all hours to catch this on the late show. leave a comment
