Quetzalcoatl, the ancient Aztec plumed god, is used by archeological madman Zucco, who wants to protect a hidden treasure he's discovered. When Zucco places a feather on someone's back, the victim is mauled by the crazed bird, which wants its feather back. The bird/god is on wires, which
would probably have been better employed had they been attached to the lifeless Zucco. Five years earlier, PRC had done THE DEVIL BAT, which had the same basic plot device.
