Townspeople mistake wanderer Gibson for a preacher for their revival meeting in this oater. Reversing the "good-guy-pretends-to-be-a-bad-guy-to-catch-criminal" approach, Gibson willingly takes on the position. Weak script is only somewhat saved by the lead character and a landslide
sequence. One of the eleven westerns Gibson made for Allied after Universal dropped his contract in 1931, fearing the unprofitability of sound westerns, and, like the rest, sadly lacking in good production techniques.
