This oater tells the oft-told tale of the lone hero, Starrett, riding into town to clear his buddy's name. Brown has been framed by the president of the local cattlemen's association, who makes it appear that Brown is the head of a group of rustlers. Brown's prison record, the result of
trumped-up larceny charges, does not help Starrett prove his friend's innocence. The daughter of the president, Harris, is in love with Brown and eventually helps Starrett prove that her father is the real leader of the rustlers.
