A fictionalized account of Canadian painter Tom Thomson, a member of Canada's famed Group of Seven. A love affair develops between the painter, Moore, and a married woman, Lomez. The husband, Benedict, discovers his wife's liaison and confides in his friend, McCann, about the situation.
McCann, out of loyalty, kills the lovers before the husband can stop him. A well-executed, low-budget Canadian production, and the first feature by avant-garde filmmaker Wieland.
