The Doctor And The Devils

Reminiscent of the Hammer pictures of the 50s and 60s, this gothic horror movie is undone by substandard acting. Timothy Dalton is a doctor at a British med school where cadavers are in short supply. When the word gets around that Dalton is willing to pay good money for corpses, Jonathan Pryce and Stephen Rea set out on a grave-robbing spree. Unfortunately, most of the bodies are too old and putrescent to be of any use to Dalton. But Pryce and Rea have come to enjoy the money they've been getting, so the men begin murdering the town's drunks and transients and delivering the bodies to a delighted Dalton.
