The Dirty Outlaws

Corman is an outlaw in the closing days of the Civil War who stumbles across a dying Confederate officer who tells him about some gold hidden in the home of his blind father. Corman takes the man's uniform and passes himself off to the father and his housekeeper as the son. Before he can find the loot, a gang of outlaws rides into town planning to rob an army payroll wagon. He is forced to help in the robbery, and, when he tries to take off with the money, he is tortured, shot, and left for dead while the gang shoots the defenseless blind man.
