Three hundred years to the day after three witches were burned at the stake in a New England town, a mysterious woman (cowriter Suzanna Love, wife of the director) appears to wreak havoc on the town's patriarchy. When they tie her to the stake and try to send her back where she came
from, lightning shoots from her eyes and destroys her persecutors. This quite interesting, feminist-minded horror film was cowritten and directed by former Fassbinder star Ulli Lommel, who also made THE BOOGEYMAN (1980) and BOOGEY MAN II (1983).
