Well-done film about life at a Catholic boys' school. With the pangs of puberty, experienced in an environment that does not allow the boys to express their urges, the film contrasts the chaste lifestyle of the religious, which they have chosen but find confining nonetheless. Directed by
Schepisi who later went on to direct the marvelous western BARBAROSA (1982).
