Once again Caine has taken a job, for what must have been a nice sum of money, before reading the script. Amazingly, the actor has managed to survive some of the worst films ever made while still retaining his charm and ability to make deals for more pictures. Quinn is a tired narcotics officer attached to the US embassy in Paris. He has been attempting to crack a huge drug ring run by Mason, who is heavily protected both physically and politically.
