The Desperado

Lydon and Barnes play a pair of young Texans who flee the carpetbagger rule of the oppressive Paiva. On the trail they meet fugitive gunfighter Morris, who befriends Lydon when he and Barnes have a falling out. Barnes is cornered by Paiva and one of his deputies and he kills them both, and blames the murder on Lydon to get his revenge. Lydon is captured and put on trial, but Morris convinces the arresting marshal, Greer, of the boy's innocence. They get Lydon off the hook and Barnes under a noose. Good performances by all but Morris, who looks drained.
