The Day They Robbed The Bank Of England: Review

This disappointing caper film set in 1901 stars Ray as the leader of a faction of the IRA that plans to rob the Bank of England. The plan requires that the gang renovate a sewer that runs under the stronghold and use it as a tunnel into the vault. The plan almost works, but the gang is captured by young bank guard O'Toole (in an early role). Good idea for a robbery movie, but Ray is badly miscast. leave a comment
