Trintignant, his moll Lelouch, and his sidekick Gerard kidnap little Roziere and force the bank his father works for to pay a million dollar ransom. All goes well, and even the bank comes out ahead, because sentimental Parisian savers open new accounts, but a slight complication develops. Excellent entertainment without the heavy-handedness that marred many of the director's later works. leave a comment
