Hrusinsky is the proprietor of a Czech crematorium who takes great pride in his work, if not in his half-Jewish wife and children. When the Nazis invade the country, Hrusinsky's drop of German blood serves him in good stead as he is put in charge of the crematorium at a death camp. Hrusinsky's scary performance highlights this morbid, darkly funny work. leave a comment
