The Corruption Of Chris Miller

Pretentious, dull melodrama has Seberg (in her last film) as the stepmother of Marisol, with whom she may or may not be having an incestuous relationship. Into their tense existence comes Stokes, who goes about bedding both of them. Meanwhile, a series of hatchet murders are occurring over the countryside. Could one of these characters be involved? An annoying film made palatable only by Seberg's presence. It was shot in 1972 but unreleased in the US until Seberg's death made her a box-office attraction.
