The Colossus Of New York

When brilliant scientist Martin dies, his demented brother Kruger transplants Martin's brain into the body of a 12-foot tall robot (Wolff). Though the initial days after the transplant point to a successful transferral, Wolff begins to show monstrous homicidal tendencies, emotional factors that eventually lead him on a rampage within the United Nations. In a moment of surprisingly real sadness, Martin's little son calms the monster down and halts the violent attack. Attempting to create a Frankenstein-like emotional tragedy, director Lourie makes the mistake of offering a ridiculous-looking creature that generates more laughs than sympathy.
