The Clue Of The Missing Ape

As a reward for rescuing a pilot from a burning plane, sea cadet Savage is sent to Gibraltar. There he meets Banda, the daughter of an officer stationed on "The Rock." They discover a plot by foreign saboteurs to destroy the ape population, whose presence has long been a symbol of British dominion. The saboteurs also plan to destroy part of the fleet moored there by using frogmen to attach explosives to the hulls of the ships. The children report their discovery but are not believed. Finally, they manage to steal the plans from the saboteurs and show them to the authorities. The bombs are found, the bad guys caught, and the apes saved. Fair adventure film for child...
