This interesting drama actually marked the feature-film debut of director Coolidge, although it sat on the shelf until her subsequent VALLEY GIRL became a hit. Harrington is a young woman trying to make it in the modern world as a photographer and as an independent person. Freeing
herself from her long attachment to Mastroianni, she plays the field. Disappointed by the outcome, she's terrified when a pimp she's been secretly photographing comes and wrecks her apartment. Harrington gives an excellent three-dimensional performance.
