Off to the Navy went Cesar Romero in WW II, and Renaldo stepped in as the Cisco Kid. Here, the story has Renaldo attempting to prove that the child in his custody has not been kidnapped, but is with him for protection against the man who murdered her father. Romero did not return to
films until 1947 in CARNIVAL IN COSTA RICA and never made another Cisco Kid movie beyond the six he did before joining the Navy.
