In this occasionally funny black comedy, Morris plays a census taker who comes to the home of Mullavey and MacRae--and asks a lot of nosy questions. The couple puts up with him for a while; but when they finally lose their collective temper, they shoot him in the head. The rest of the film
concerns their efforts to hide the corpse from a weird detective (Bottoms). The opening parts, with Morris intruding into Mullavey and MacRae's private life, are the best.
