With possibly the worst plot of 1972, this message film tells us that "drugs are bad." Johnny takes drugs and runs away with "those damned hippies" after his parents show no remorse at the death of the family dog. After a bad trip, man, Johnny sees the evils of drugs and hippies, so he
returns home. Johnny's happy, Mom and Dad are happy, everyone's happy--except for Johnny's pet parakeet, which was eaten by the family cat. Dad, however, has learned his lesson and tenderly consoles his heartbroken son. Now if only the cat had eaten the script . . .
