The Bus Is Coming

A young black man is killed in the Los Angeles suburb of Watts, and a group of black militants demand that action be taken against the two sadistic cops who committed the murder. Sympathetic to the blacks, but forced into backing up the story of his two officers, police chief Brubaker must deal with a highly volatile situation. When Simms, the brother of the victim, returns from Vietnam, he is asked by the militants to join them in protest, but Simms refuses, wishing to remain neutral in the matter.
