Beery is an old cavalryman caught up in the mechanization of the army with tanks. A good cast is wasted on a weak script and lame direction. Oddly, this film was released two weeks after Pearl Harbor, and made the fatal error of criticizing the US Army's unpreparedness, something no one wanted to hear. leave a comment
