Broadway dancing star Saxon is vacationing in a small town and, just for laughs, she auditions for a burlesque show. Naturally she lands a job, and then falls in love with Egan, the show's author-turned-manager who has no idea she's a star in New York. Once in the lineup, Egan notices her
talent, and immediately promotes Saxon to a duo dance number with him. When Egan finds out who she is, he thinks she's been toying with him and fires Saxon. Later, he makes his debut in New York and Saxon sits in the audience. He freezes and Saxon saves him by assisting in the number they did in
the burlesque show. Silly story is helped by some fine dance numbers.
