In THE BLUE IGUANA McDermott plays a bounty hunter who refers to himself grandly as a "recovery specialist." He's broke, living in a miserable apartment, and in trouble with the IRS. In order to square things with the government, he accepts (under pressure) an offer made by agents Stockwell and Feldshuh to travel south of the border to El Diablo, where millions of dollars in drug money is being laundered.
