The Blue Country

Tacchella's follow-up to the enormously successful COUSIN, COUSINE is a loosely structured collection of country vignettes with a large cast of eccentrics. Most of the folks in the quiet provincial town are content, or at least believe themselves to be so, but gradually these simple people find the urge growing inside them to discover what city life is all about. The differences between the urban and rural lifestyles are paralleled in the romance between ex-Parisian Fossey and country bumpkin Serres.
