The Blind Director

This multistoried film weaves a common thread through each tale: the effect of sudden, overwhelming crises on the lives of common folk. The first vignette takes place in WW II Poland. Hoping to save the archives of a film studio, the caretaker humbly hands over his daughter to a Nazi soldier. In another story of unexpected change, a little girl survives after her parents are tragically killed in a car wreck. Next there is a businessman for whom the business of traveling becomes an all-consuming matter.
