The Big Broadcast Of 1936

It took three years to get to number two in the BIG BROADCAST series of films. Oakie manages a fly-by-night radio station and doubles as the voice of "The Great Lover" (sort of a precursor to "The Continental" on 1950s TV). He is kidnaped by a man-crazy countess who is loaded with money. George and Gracie have the rights to a television device that her uncle invented (Burns and Allen fans will recall that Gracie always had an uncle who was doing something mad at all times) that can broadcast as well as receive, like a CB radio.
