Parker is an army general who is in need of some cash to purchase his retirement cottage. While he's gone on maneuvers, his faithful wife, Greenwood, comes up with the perfect solution to their financial dilemma. She decides to convert her husband's military headquarters in Scotland into a hotel for tourists. She enlists the aid of the general's loyal staff to fill in as chefs, maids, bellhops, and chauffeurs. The scheme turns out to be a bigger success than she anticipated.
