The Adventures Of Tom Thumb & Thumbelina

This kid-toon discloses the hard knocks awaiting the extremely height-challenged, perhaps inadvertently echoing the Randy Newman song "Short People." The families of Tom Thumb (voice of Elijah Wood) and his neighbor, Thumbelina (Jennifer Love Hewitt), both live in a miniature village, but neither can prevent the kidnapping of their tiny offspring by full-sized human invaders. Tom makes his getaway and finds refuge with Ben the Blacksmith, but the less fortunate Thumbelina winds up the star performer in Mr. Roman's carnival.
