East Side kid Muggs (Leo Gorcey) aspires to be a jockey despite the teasing he gets from his pals. When the boys meet Ben (Clarence Muse), a poor black man who owns a racehorse, they persuade him to let Muggs ride the steed in a big race. The gang gets the entry fee from Conrad Wilkes (Milton Kibbee), but he insists that a different jockey ride the horse, Muggs having proven himself talentless. leave a comment
