A familiar wax museum murder picture which boasts a number of horror talents, none of whom is given much to do. As Carradine is preparing to sell his museum to Crawford, which would end the careers of workers Milland and Marlo, he is mysteriously murdered. Lanchester comes in to take charge of the museum, but soon a number of mysterious deaths occur at the hands of wax figures who come to life.
