It! The Terror From Beyond Space

A good low-budget space thriller, the basic plot of which was re-used by Ridley Scott for his ALIEN (1979). Thompson, stranded on Mars, is the lone survivor of a space probe who is rescued by a ship commanded by Spalding. The latter suspects Thompson of having murdered his colleagues in order to ensure sufficient provender for his own survival, and takes off for Earth with Thompson a prisoner. The space shipmates are killed off one-by-one by alien stowaway "it," played by Corrigan in a rubber suit.
